Toby Hone has been practicing body work for the last 16 years. Toby ‘tripped upon’ his love of bodywork whilst completing the Massage component of his Naturopathic studies. Although Toby held little enthusiasm for this area, he quickly discovered his passion. He particularly enjoyed the grounding and physicality of massage where he was able to utilise the intuitive side of healing.
As a lecturer at SSNT, Toby’s knowledge of pathology is second-to-none. With training in drug/herb/nutrient interactions and an intimate knowledge of all modalities, Toby is able to identify the best treatment regime and most appropriate referral for his patients.
Toby specialises in combining treatments for labour induction. With an emphasis on counselling, he is able to combine his knowledge of pathology and the hospital system to provide sound holistic advice – enabling his patients to make informed choices.
When performing remedial massage, Toby finds his treatments particularly effective when treating neck, shoulder and back related issues.
Toby is passionate about food as medicine and enjoys passing on his extensive knowledge of ingredients and recipes to enable his patients to produce something amazing!
